Figures and Fashion

As well as traditional life drawing of nudes, I also draw clothed models. Since the Covid-19 Lockdowns, I have enjoyed Drawing Cabaret Couture and the wonderful Ami Benton’s live Zoom sessions, which incorporate beautiful, wierd and wonderful fashion with the skills of dancers, aerial artists, cabaret performers and professional fashion models. These sessions are fast-moving and dynamic, requiring a different approach to the more ‘sedate’ poses of the traditional sessions. Most are A2 in size and in ink, charcoal, chalk and graphite.
