There is something truly magical about hares. They run like the wind and they can disappear in an instant. While in Cymru, filling my sketch books, I was lucky enough to see a lot of these wonderful creatures – one small leveret even sat on the doorstep cleaning his ears, totally oblivious to my presence. It was good to see their numbers up – a sign that agriculture and people are not disturbing or polluting their habitats.
